Cyber Security Summit – The New Domain
Cyber Congressional Series
San Antonio is the only U.S. city with a unique combination of cyber security assets, capabilities and workforce. Already a recognized leader in information assurance, our city is also a Cyber Operations/Security Center of Excellence.
As part of the Cyber Congressional Series, The Greater Chamber, the Association of Old Crows, the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association and the National Military Intelligence Association present “Securing the New Domain,” a day-long summit on cyber security and the role San Antonio plays.
Participants will learn about significant cyber security issues facing America, what solutions and services San Antonio has to offer and how members of Congress and national cyber security leaders can help enhance and promote cyber security capabilities. Click her to view a draft agenda.
The Summit features Mayor Julián Castro, Congressmen Ciro Rodriguez and Silvestre Reyes (Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence), and Greg Shaffer (Assistant Secretary, Department of Homeland Security Office of Cybersecurity and Communications). Also invited to participate are Howard Schmidt (White House Cyber Coordinator); Colis Woods (Associate CIO for Cyber Security, DoE); and Bob Butler (Deputy Assistant Secretary DoD, Space and Cyber Policy).
