PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS: Mr. Dawson is Chief Executive Officer of Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc., which was established in 1965. His current responsibilities include the firm's management, allocation of resources, strategic planning, and operations. He also provides review and coordination of major projects.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Dawson’s experience includes providing design, technical support, and management for a wide range of civil and environmental engineering projects. His project experience includes residential and commercial land development; preliminary engineering reports; cost estimates; municipal street, bridge, and sewer projects; flood studies; storm drainage systems; water distribution systems and transmission lines; sanitary sewer collection systems; golf course design; new school and rehabilitation projects,
and highway design. In addition, Mr. Dawson has extensive knowledge and working relationships with representatives from the City of San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas Department of Transportation, San Antonio Water System, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and CPS Energy.
