SA TO DC began 30 years ago with less than 10 Chamber members, who traveled to DC solely focused on providing support to the military in San Antonio. Since then, the trip has evolved to include teams of individuals promoting dozens of important issues and requests to decision makers in Washington. Each year, SA TO DC includes:

- Meetings with our Texas Congressional delegation, Administration officials and leaders at the Pentagon.

- Briefings from key national and international figures to complement our visits to the Hill and the Pentagon.

- A delegation of local leaders, representing key entities and organizations from round San Antonio. This year's group will once again have more than 100 people, including eight San Antonio City Council members.

SA TO DC is co-hosted by The Greater and San Antonio Hispanic Chambers, and is recognized as a model for chambers of commerce across the country on how to coordinate a group visit to our nation's capitol.
