On September 7, your Chamber will be honoring SWBC President and Co-founder Gary Dudley at our annual Pathfinder award luncheon. Click here for more information or to register for the event. Since graduating from Sam Houston State University and serving six years in the Marine Corps, Gary has gone on to have a significant impact on the San Antonio business community during the past 40 years.

He co-founded SWBC in 1976 with his grade school friend and our other 2016 Pathfinder award winner, Charlie Amato, and has played an instrumental role in developing SWBC’s business model. This isn’t the first time Gary’s dedication to the local business community has been recognized. He has been inducted to the Texas Business Hall of Fame, the College of Business Hall of Honor at Sam Houston State and the San Antonio Business Hall of Fame.

He is not just a part-owner of the San Antonio Spurs, Gary is also a board member of the Silver and Black Give Back, a nonprofit that uses their resources to engage young people to improve their communities. He is also a member of the President’s Council and College of Business Administration Advisory Board at Sam Houston State University and serves as a board member for the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation and your Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his efforts to enhance the local business community, Gary also co-founded the HCV Coalition for The Cure.

We are proud to present our most prestigious award to Gary for his visionary leadership and his dedication to the San Antonio community!
