Since being elected in 2014, Congressman Will Hurd has continued to blaze his own trail to deliver bipartisan results for the 800,000 Texans he represents in a district that sprawls from San Antonio to El Paso. Hurd has earned a reputation as a dedicated legislator willing to work across the aisle to solve problems that empower people, not the government.
As he approaches the end of his final term serving Texas’ 23rd District, Hurd will sit down with San Antonio Chamber President and CEO Richard Perez to reflect on his time in office, expectations for the next federal recovery package, and thoughts on reopening the U.S. economy.
The event is part of the Chamber’s highly-anticipated Congressional Series, which provides an opportunity for business and community leaders to hear directly from congressional members about the most pressing issues facing Congress, and how it impacts the San Antonio business climate. The event will be livestreamed via WebEx, allowing you to fully engage with the congressman and ask questions about issues that matter most to you.
Hurd serves on the House Appropriations Committee and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, including Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Intelligence Modernization and Readiness.
