The economic competitiveness of any city relies not only great employers, but great schools. San Antonio is growing in global competitiveness and our local school districts play a critical role in that continued growth.
With more than 50,000 students, San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) is the largest inner-city school district with approximately 90 schools in the center of San Antonio. In partnership with the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the SAISD Foundation, we invite you to join Superintendent Pedro Martinez as he discusses the State of SAISD along with an update on the district’s bold, strategic plan presented in 2016, an update on the current expansion of options for students and their families, as well as continued plans ensuring SAISD is a model urban school district for the country.
The business community continues to play a critical role in this strategy as we help redefine excellence and ensure our students are prepared for the workforce needs of today and tomorrow.
