THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED
New Congressman Tony Gonzales’ star is on the rise. The freshman congressman has been nominated to the powerful House Committee on Appropriations, the committee that oversees nearly all federal government spending activity. Additionally, he was recently tapped as assistant whip for the 117th Congress, which involves serving as floor leader and mobilizing votes within the party on key issues.
During this virtual event, the 20-year Navy veteran will be sitting down with San Antonio Chamber President and CEO Richard Perez to discuss important bread-and-butter issues for San Antonio and our nation to include:
- Military support
- COVID-19 relief for businesses.
We invite you to join us to learn more about Congressman Gonzales and encourage you to ask questions live during the event.
Congressman Gonzales represents more than 800,000 Texans in District 23. He also serves on the House Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies, as well as the Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and Related Agencies under the House Appropriations Committee.
