The healthcare and bioscience industry is central to the local economy, employing many in and around San Antonio. For two decades, we have presented the impact the industry has on our community, focusing on our unique assets.

This year, the COVID-19 pandemic has stressed healthcare systems and communities across the world. As we look towards recovery, our keynote speakers will discuss their views on resilience. Join us for a presentation of the biennial report of the economic impact of the healthcare and bioscience industry on San Antonio and hear from our distinguished speakers.

Presentation of economic impact:
Dr. Mary Stefl, Trinity University
Dr. Rich Butler, Trinity University

Keynotes:
Dr. John Zerwas, Executive Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs for the University of Texas System

Ms. Mojdeh Poul, Executive Vice President of 3M Health Care Business Group

In recent years, we learned that one out of every six San Antonians works in our thriving healthcare and biosciences industries. Join our event to learn about the 2019 impact and learn about the unique assets in our community, positioning it for continued growth in years to come.
