The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated many of the issues San Antonians were already facing, such as the digital divide, underemployment and job loss, insecurities, stagnant educational attainment and opportunities for reskilling or upskilling. In response to the public health crisis San Antonio’s leaders came together to co-develop plans and programs to meet the short-, mid-, and long-term needs of our neighbors most impacted by the economic fallout of the pandemic.
Join us for an in-depth conversation about the workforce and education attainment plans for our city with:
Mayor Ron Nirenberg
Dr. Mike Flores, Chancellor of the Alamo Colleges District
Jenna Saucedo-Herrera, President and CEO of the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation
Be part of the discussion as we examine the pathways ahead for San Antonio’s workforce.
