American women have proudly served in our Nation’s Military since the Revolutionary War, but only recently have we begun to see boundaries lifted and barriers torn down related to what capacity they are allowed to serve, providing them the same opportunities as male soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines. Join us as we celebrate and honor those brave women, who remain an integral part of our Nation’s Finest Fighting Force and continue to push towards equality regardless of duty description or branch of service. From peacetime to war, women serve valiantly and lead troops selflessly while also striving for success in their personal lives – mentoring others who come behind them, rising up in the ranks, and challenging others in and out of the military to look beyond stereotypes and combat prejudices.
Military City USA is home to hundreds of women veterans and many of our great business organizations are proud to employ women military leaders across a wide variety of industry and positions. Join us to hear from three seasoned, trailblazing military leaders as they reflect on their careers – past, present and future – and find out how we can continue to encourage women to join the military and leverage their service to find a meaningful career and future out of uniform, serving in our businesses and in our communities in a special and unique way.
