Over 130 business and community leaders from San Antonio are set to travel to Washington D.C. next week to meet with Members of Congress, agency leadership and Administration Officials to advocate for critical issue to San Antonio and South Texas. This year, the San Antonio Chamber has introduced an increased focus on technology, connectedness and information flow through the use of social media integration and a new trip app. The all new SA to DC app is now available for download on the App Store, Google Play and Amazon AppStore.
The SA to DC app will allow attendees to instantly connect with each other through direct messaging, share photos and social media integrated through their personal accounts across the app, and see real-time changes and additions to the trip schedule. Attendees and those in San Antonio tracking the trip can connect by using the hashtag #SAtoDC2016. You can follow the action of SA to DC 2016 through the San Antonio Chamber’s tripblog, as well as the Chamber’s YouTube Channel.
2016 Chamber Chairman Renée Flores kicked off her year at the Annual Gala with a speech focused on jobs and technology, and the installment of new ways to connect attendees, media and Members of Congress will increase the effectiveness and connectedness of the annual advocacy trip to Washington.
