For the second year, the Diplomas partners will be hosting key policy leaders for a policy briefing on critical education issues and discussion regarding policy priorities related to postsecondary readiness, access, and attainment for San Antonio’s Latino students. The San Antonio Chamber has served as a founding partner and co-chair for this effort and invites business members and educators to participate in this important discussion as we begin to prepare for the 2017 Texas Legislative session.

This policy summit will take place on Friday, April 8th from 8:30 am – noon at the UTSA Downtown Campus (501 W. Cesar Chavez, Southwest Room). Parking will be available in Lot D3 for all attendees.

The keynote address will be given by Representative Diego Bernal, Texas House of Representatives, District 123 with legislative updates to be provided by Celina Moreno, Legislative Staff Attorney, MALDEF and David Hinojosa, National Director of Policy, IDRA.
