Mark your calendar for next Wednesday at 11:45 a.m., and plan to join us as we celebrate our 2016 Tribute to Women Business Leaders honorees: Sheryl Sculley, City Manager for the City of San Antonio; Laura Ehrenberg-Chesler, Co-Founder of Crossvault Capital Management, LLC; Susan Pamerleau, Bexar County Sheriff; Magaly Chocano, Founder & CEO of Sweb Development; Nancy Najim, President and CEO of the San Antonio Humane Society; and Nancy Loeffler, Civic and Community Leader.

Every year, in conjunction with Presenting Sponsor Ford  Motor Company, the Chamber honors women business leaders who drive success in their professions, their community and in the lives of the people around them.

“Overall, this year’s list of nominees was extremely impressive with outstanding and incredibly talented leaders who all deserve to be both recognized and congratulated for their tremendous contributions to our community. The six honorees exemplify what success means in San Antonio, not only because of their success in their chosen career fields, but also because of their profound impact on our community,” said 2016 Tribute to Women Business Leaders Chairman Angela Salinas, Major General, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret) and CEO of Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas.

“At Ford, we are committed to driving a better future for our communities, a value we share with the outstanding women business leaders that the San Antonio Chamber honors every year,” said Joe Avila, Community Outreach Manager for Ford Motor Company Fund. “This year’s nominees are indeed an impressive group of leaders, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements.”

The Tribute to Women Business Leaders honorees each exemplify business practices and principles that are championed by Ford Motor Company and the San Antonio Chamber. A $1,000 scholarship will be donated to the college/university of the award recipient’s choice in her name, and the scholarship recipients and/or academic institutions will be recognized at the Awards Luncheon on May 4 at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. Registration information can be found at sachamber.org.
