Southwest Airlines announced on May 19th that starting in November, they will provide non-stop service to Kansas City. To celebrate this new route, Southwest Airlines is offering a $79 one-way ticket to Kansas City for travel between November 6 and December 17. Make sure to take advantage of this special, as it will expire on May 26.
President and CEO of the San Antonio Chamber, Richard Perez, shared the Chamber’s enthusiasm during the press conference at City Hall. He highlighted what this connectivity could mean for business in San Antonio. Non-stop service to Kansas City will open up opportunities in financial services, healthcare, and communications. There is also a direct military link, with many foreign students who arrive in the United States to attend the Command and General Staff College (Leavenworth, KS) who come to San Antonio first to gain certification at the Defense Language Institute housed at Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland.
Air service that supports the business needs of our community has and will continue to be a high priority for the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.
