Your Chamber teamed up with News4 San Antonio and Fox San Antonio on Monday evening for a Sheriff debate featuring Incumbent Sheriff Susan Pamerleau (Republican), Javier Salazar (Democrat), Larry Ricketts (Libertarian) and James Dorsey (Green) at The Tobin Center.
“As you know, election day is Tuesday November 8, and in addition to being a very important presidential election, there are some very important local races as well,” Chamber CEO & President Richard Perez said. “One of these is the race for Bexar County Sheriff. Sponsoring this debate is an effort to help our members and the community learn more about the four candidates running for Sheriff,” Perez added.
All four nominees spent the night debating issues like public safety, public perception of San Antonio and Bexar County law enforcement, officer morale, response times, inmate deaths in the county jail and more.
You can view an archive of the debate uploaded by News4 San Antonio if you missed it. The Chamber strongly suggests that you invest in the city’s future by voting this election. Early voting begins October 24 and ends November 4,and election day is November 8.
