The Chamber will be hosting City Council Forums this coming Friday, May 26. In an effort to engage a broader, more diverse audience, we will be broadcasting each forum using Facebook Live. The purpose of the forums is to inform the community about the mayor and city council candidates, and their positions on economic issues facing our region. The San Antonio business community understands the integral role our city leaders play in ensuring San Antonio maintains a business friendly environment and a thriving economy.
Each forum will consist of a 25-minute discussion. Candidate questions have been developed by the Chamber’s Public Affairs Council and focus on the issues most important to our business community, including transportation, education and workforce, tourism, and business development, just to name a few.
To access the City Council Forums, just FOLLOW or LIKE our Chamber Facebook page. You will receive a notification on Friday, May 26 when we go live. Time permitting, candidates will also be taking questions from viewers, so make sure to submit your questions in the comment section below the video. Each forum will also be available on the Chamber website leading up to Election Day.
