Last week, your Chamber’s Military Affairs Council subcommittee, Woman to Woman Leader to Leader (WWLL), met for our last official gathering of 2017. We were graciously hosted by Lea Ream and her fellow attorneys at Davidson, Troilo, Ream and Garza (DTR&G) in their beautiful office space in the Pyramid Building. Founded in 1962, Davidson Troilo Ream and Garza assists clients in a wide range of practice areas, to include individuals, financial institutions, large and small businesses, utilities, public agencies and municipalities. DTR&G is recognized as both a Certified Small Business Enterprise and Certified Woman Owned Business by South Texas Regional Certification Agency.
This casual reception is hosted quarterly with the main focus being to connect area business women leaders with senior ranking military service women in the hopes of establishing valuable working relationships and networking to keep our talented military women here in San Antonio after transition from their military service. Making personal connections and creating strong networks within a variety of industries are key to the success of our transitioning military women. The committee, co-chaired by Diane Warren, CEO and Founder of Bounceology, and Jimmie Keenan, retired United States Army Major General and Senior Vice President of Enterprise Clinic Operations at WellMed Medical Management, is planning for its 2018 gatherings. If you are interested in finding out more about this committee, please e-mail Lori Stinson, Vice President of Military Affairs and Leadership Development, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
