The Chamber’s Public Policy Department is excited to announce Fred Arce, Vice President-Client Development Leader of the South Central Texas Region for HDR Engineering, will serve as the Chamber’s 2018 Water Committee Chair. Arce is no stranger to the Chamber, as he served as Chair of the Water Committee in 2015 under Chairman of the Board Henry Cisneros.
Arce has 26 years of experience in water, water resources, wastewater, recycle, program development, and watershed management. He has served as Principal in Charge for some of the largest water and wastewater projects and programs in South Texas for HDR, including the SAWS SSO Program, Museum Reach project, and San Pedro Creek Restoration Project. Prior to his tenure at HDR, Arce served 14 years at the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) in various capacities including Manager and Director of Water Resources and Conservation, Project Manager, and Marketer.
The Chamber’s Water Committee works to identify and support long-term political solutions to ensure an adequate, affordable, and quality supply of water on a regional basis. We are excited to have Mr. Arce serve as Chair and believe he will bring an extensive wealth of knowledge and experience to the committee.
