Last week, the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce welcomed Joe Kampa as the new Vice President of Member Engagement. Joe’s primary focus will be to engage with new and current members and encourage active participation in our Councils, Committees, and events. His ultimate goal is to better connect our members with the Chamber.
“Joe has been an active member of the Chamber for many years, so I am extremely excited that he has become a very important member of our team,” Chamber President and CEO Richard Perez said. “His outgoing personality along with his knowledge of and experience with the Chamber will help him as he builds strong relationships with our members and shows businesses the many benefits of becoming more active with our organization.”
Prior to joining the Chamber team, Joe spent 12 years in the hotel industry, most recently working as an Account Executive for the St. Anthony Hotel. Joe’s wife has served in the U.S. Air Force for 28 years and has been stationed in San Antonio twice, returning in July of 2017.
“I’m gratified to have been invited to join the premier business advocacy organization in the city,” Joe said. “I am excited about engaging our members and helping them maximize the benefits of their Chamber membership. Our members are the lifeblood of our organization, and if I can serve them in a way that helps them achieve their goals, then we all rise!”
