Leadership San Antonio seeking Leaders for the Future

The application process will open soon for Leadership San Antonio (LSA) 45. For 45 years, the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce has been honored to organize LSA to shape the future of San Antonio by educating, engaging, and challenging our city’s best and brightest emerging leaders.  This program, one of the first of its kind in Texas, has graduated more than 1,600 participants and focuses on providing leaders an opportunity to develop an understanding of the promise and challenges of our growing community. Through the LSA process, participants are guided with the help of LSA Alumni Steering Committee members to plan and execute monthly class days, offering unique insights from present and future decision-makers, in both the public and private sectors. Graduates are better prepared to lead San Antonio into the future by using their broader understanding of our diverse community because of this program.

“I love serving as a member of the LSA’s steering committee because it’s experiencing Leadership San Antonio all over again, but through the eyes of another class,” said Jenny Carnes, Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of San Antonio Sports, and current LSA 44 Steering Committee. “To support a very diverse group of amazing and talented leaders in San Antonio as they go through this journey is truly an honor.”

LSA Class participants are selected with diversity in mind, from all segments of the community, and demonstrate leadership with an established history of holding positions of increased responsibility in their chosen professions. LSA seeks people dedicated to investing their time and talents in serving our community and show a sincere commitment and desire to increase their level of service by assuming key leadership positions in the future.

Applications for interested leaders will be available the first week of August. For more details on the program, the application and interview process and timeline, please contact the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce’s Vice President of Military Affairs and Leadership Development, Lori Stinson at
