Chamber Members talk Cybersecurity with London-based businesses

The Chamber partnered with the City of San Antonio and the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation to host a virtual trade mission that included nine London-based cybersecurity companies with interest in San Antonio. The trade mission was organized by the Mayor’s office in London to engage business leaders in the US and Canada. Following opening remarks by the Chamber’s Vice President for Cybersecurity and Economic Development Jeff Fair, several chamber members represented the Cybersecurity San Antonio team by describing the cybersecurity ecosystem here, in Cyber City USA.

Rich Valdez, the Chair of the Chamber’s Cybersecurity Council, provided the London participants with an overview of federal cybersecurity opportunities in San Antonio and gave a testimonial to the positive business atmosphere in the region. After presentations by Cybersecurity San Antonio partners, Port San Antonio, and the National Security Collaboration Center at UTSA, the London companies asked some great questions about the city, the business opportunities, and how to get started in San Antonio.
