US Census Hosting Building Your Business with Data: A Webinar for Hispanic-Owned Businesses

The U.S. Census Bureau – Denver Region is hosting an important webinar on Wednesday, July 29 at 10 a.m. to introduce business owners and advocates to Census Business Builder (CBB).

The CBB Small Business Edition provides easy access to Census Bureau data and information from other sources about potential customers and similar businesses for those starting or growing a business. Small Business Edition is primarily for small business owners who need key data for their business plan or to better understand their potential market. It presents data for a single type of business or a single industry cluster at a time. The data is presented in a map-based interface that is accessed in four simple steps and can be downloaded in a report.

Building Your Business with Data: A Webinar for Hispanic-Owned Businesses is being presented by Andrew Hait, Economist for the U. S. Census Bureau. Your Chamber will be tuning-in to learn more and encourages you to do the same. Click here to register.

Mr. Hait is an Economist and serves as the Data Product and Data User Liaison in the Economic Management Division at the U.S. Census Bureau. With over 30 years of service at the Bureau, Andy advises on Economic data products and conducts data user training and outreach for the Economic Census and the Census Bureau’s other monthly, quarterly, and annual economic survey programs. He also is the lead designer and coordinates development of Census Business Builder, an innovative data tool that presents selected demographic, business, and other data in a user-friendly, map-based interface.
