San Antonio Startup Week runs October 11 – 22 this year, and your Chamber is championing Startup Week and our city’s entrepreneurs in two great ways. First, the Chamber is supporting one of Startup Week’s premier events, Tech Fuel, which is San Antonio’s largest cash prize pitch competition. During the event, which takes place Thursday at 5:30 at the Tobin Center, five finalists will compete for a $25,000 cash prize. Each finalist, will also receive a one-year Chamber membership to further their business acceleration and welcome them into the local business community.
The Chamber’s Cybersecurity Council will also be hosting Startup Week’s signature cybersecurity event on October 21 at 3:45 p.m., including a panel discussion from Cybersecurity San Antonio’s leadership team, including moderator Jeff Fair, Vice President of Cybersecurity and Economic Development for the Chamber, and panelists:
- Rich Valdez, IP Secure
- Patsy Boozer, City of San Antonio
- Eddie Contreras, Frost Bank
The panel will focus on the future of cybersecurity in San Antonio in 2041, and the event will take place at the Dry Goods Building at 107 North Flores Street. Click here to register. We hope to see you all there for some insightful discussion and sharing of what the future holds for our community.
