
Mayoral Runoff Debate, Co-Hosted by the Greater San Antonio Chamber and the SA Report, Expected to Draw 600 Attendees and Set the Stage for the Final Stretch of the Campaign
WHAT: The final two mayoral candidates, Gina Ortiz Jones and Rolando Pablos, will square off in a debate covering the issues that will shape San Antonio for years to come. This debate will undoubtedly play a role in the outcome of this race, as the candidates will have every opportunity to state their positions, highlight their credentials and differentiate themselves from each other in front of an expected crowd of 600 business and civic leaders.
With the Mayoral Runoff Election happening June 7, 2025, the Greater San Antonio Chamber and the SA Report have teamed up to hold this debate to educate San Antonians about the two mayoral candidates and encourage everyone to exercise their right to vote. Andrea Drusch, the San Antonio Report’s Government & Politics Report, will ask the candidates questions about everything from public safety, homelessness, and affordable housing, to their positions on Project Marvel, their strategy for economic development, the future of the Ready to Work Program, and much more.
