Tribute to Women Business Leaders Nomination Form

Each year, through the Tribute to Women Business Leaders awards, the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce celebrates women business leaders who are making a difference in San Antonio. The awards honor individuals who embody leadership qualities which have driven not only their personal success, but also the success of those around them.

Nominees exemplify business practices and principles that are championed by Ford Motor Company and the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. A $1,000 scholarship will be donated to the college/university of the award recipient’s choice in her name. The scholarship recipients and/or academic institutions will be recognized at the Awards Luncheon (date to be determined).

Nominate a Leader

Nomination Deadline Has Been Extended To Midnight On March 25, 2018

What you will need to complete the nomination form:

  • Nominee’s Contact Information
  • Nominee’s Employer Information (Company Name, Address and Nominee Job Title)
  • Nominee’s Resume, Biography or Curriculum Vitae
  • One (max three) letters of recommendation
  • (Optional) Nominee’s Headshot
Nominee must:

  • Be a female 21 years of age or older
  • Be in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations


A business owner, CEO, managing partner or top executive in a large company who has a proven success record as an outstanding business leader, is a leading force in her industry, and has had significant impact on the community.


A small business owner or CEO who has a proven success record as an outstanding business leader and has had a significant impact on the community.

*A small business’s size limitations will be determined by industry, based on the U.S. Small Business Administration’s definition. For most, small business is categorized as fewer than 50 full-time employees.


Through military, police/fire or other public service, this honoree places the welfare of others before her own and has made a single or ongoing meritorious contribution to the San Antonio community.

Promise Award

This exceptional leader has made a significant impact on business and the community in a short span of time, due to age or length of time in San Antonio.
