SAN ANTONIO, January 6, 2026 – The Greater San Antonio Chamber is deeply grateful to the men and women of our armed forces who put themselves in harm’s way in service to our country, and to the families who stand beside them through moments of uncertainty and sacrifice.
As service members involved in the recent Venezuela operation receive care at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), we want to express our unwavering support for their recovery, dignity, and well-being. San Antonio is Military City, USA, and caring for those who serve is not only a responsibility but is part of who we are as a community.
We also recognize the extraordinary role BAMC’s medical professionals play in providing world-class care to wounded warriors and their families.
Their compassion and expertise reflect the very best of San Antonio.
The Chamber stands ready to support efforts to ensure service members and their families are treated with respect, compassion, and given the resources they need during recovery and beyond. Our thoughts are with them, and we remain committed to honoring their service through action and advocacy.
