The Greater San Antonio Chamber 55th Annual Celebrating America's Military

Honoring the Past, Present and the Future of our Armed Forces

                                                           

Celebrate America’s Military (CAM) is an annual series of events organized by The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce to honor the men and women who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces—Active, Guard, and Reserve—across all branches, their families, and veterans and their families. Held during the first few weeks of November each year, CAM is the nation’s largest and longest-running military appreciation celebration. 2026 will mark CAM’s 55th year!

Our 2026 CAM title sponsors are USAA, Cavender Auto Group, and SeaWorld San Antonio, whose Park President, Jeff Davis, is our 2026 CAM Chair.

San Antonio, known as “Military City USA,” has a rich military history and hosts Joint Base San Antonio, the largest joint military installations in the country. Greater San Antonio is home to over 500,000 military members, veterans and their families personnel across four counties and four congressional districts, making CAM a significant event in the region.

Signature Events

CAM features a variety of events that bring together military service members, veterans, and the local community:

  • Spirit of America Dinner, Friday Nov. 6, at The Witte Museum: A formal gala that serves as the kickoff event, featuring a cocktail reception, dinner, entertainment, and a keynote address.
  • Veterans Legacy Luncheon, Tuesday, Nov. 10, hosted by Cavender Auto Group: An event honoring the contributions of those who preceded our current servicemembers, featuring a panel discussion with veterans spanning ranks, services, and impacts in their post-service lives.
  • Enlisted Appreciation Reception, Thursday, Nov. 12, at SeaWorld: A spirited networking and social event recognizing the service, expertise and leadership of all enlisted servicemembers.

Community Engagement

CAM also includes community events hosted throughout November by JBSA organizations, nonprofits and local businesses and civic groups, including in past years parades, festivals, and concerts.

How to Get Involved

The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce invites community members, businesses, and organizations to participate in and support CAM. Opportunities include event sponsorships, hosting events, and volunteering.
