Join Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas, with special guest Michael Quintanilla, for a luncheon full of Fiesta fun – and games of lotería – directly benefiting the West Side Girl Scout Leadership Center. Shop from local artisan and boutique vendors from 10-11 a.m., then join in games of lotería from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Attendees will receive a special Girl Scouts Fiesta medal and a box of Girl Scout cookies, and one winner of the lotería will be crowned La Rena/El Rey de Lotería! As the council’s programming hub, the West Side center is home to quality activities such as summer day camp, after-school tutoring, leadership development programs, troop meetings, and more. Our Girl Scouts love its STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) lab and art studio, and above all that the center is a safe space to discover themselves, connect with others, and take action to make the world a better place.
