 We invite you to join our Chamber Staff at the upcoming San Antonio Mambo All Star Orchestra  Grand Opening ceremony.

The San Antonio Mambo All Star Orchestra is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the rich cultural heritages of Latin and big band music, particularly mambo and Latin jazz. Through captivating performances, we actively engage and enrich our communities, ensuring the continued vitality of these cherished Latin and American jazz art forms.

 Leading this endeavor is Bobby Chavez, the Orchestra's Musical Director and Founder. With a distinguished career as an international conductor, arranger/composer, and entertainer, Bobby brings unparalleled expertise and passion to our ensemble. Additionally, he is a two-time international award-winning author and a talented stand-up comedian.

 Bobby holds three college degrees, including a Master of Music in Afro-Latin Music from Cal State University Los Angeles. A proud military veteran with 25 years of service, he is also a native of San Antonio, deeply rooted in the vibrant cultural tapestry of our city.
