Each year, the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, along with presenting sponsor Ford, celebrates women business leaders who are making a difference in our community.
This year’s list of nominees was impressive with outstanding and incredibly talented leaders who deserve to be both recognized and congratulated for their tremendous contributions to our community. The Tribute to Women Business Leaders Selection Committee had the very difficult task of selecting six winners who embody leadership qualities which have driven not only their personal success, but also the success of those around them.
The 2016 Tribute to Women Business Leaders Award honorees are Sheryl Sculley, City Manager for the City of San Antonio; Laura Ehrenberg-Chesler, Co-Founder of Crossvault Capital Management, LLC; Susan Pamerleau, Bexar County Sheriff; Magaly Chocano, Founder & CEO of Sweb Development; Nancy Najim, President and CEO of the San Antonio Humane Society; and Nancy Loeffler, Civic and Community Leader.
A $1,000 scholarship will be donated to the college/university of the award recipient’s choice in her name, and the scholarship recipients and/or academic institutions will be recognized at the Awards Luncheon on May 4 at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa.
