In response to the economic challenges our city faces with state funding for healthcare, the Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio (BHFSA) will be granting $6 million to those who have made a positive impact of our local healthcare needs.  You can nominate a business or group if you believe they’ve made a positive impact in the following counties: Bexar, Kendall, Bandera, Medina, Atascosa, Wilson, Guadalupe and Comal. Submissions for the Community Impact Grant will be accepted until July 15. Groups such as churches, small non-profits and grass-root organizations that help meet the health needs of their communities are encouraged to apply. BHFSA never stops trying to confront the unmet healthcare needs of our region and wants your help on who they should recognize for doing the same. BHFSA has awarded nearly $49 million to organizations in Bexar and neighboring counties since 2005. Nominees must demonstrate an excellent record of leadership and a history of going above and beyond for the community. For a printable version of the form please contact Cody at 210-735-9009.
