We are pleased to announce planning for the next SA to DC and VIVA trips is well under way. Mark your calendar for our SA to DC trip on February 13 – 16 and for our VIVA trip to the state capital on February 23, 2017.
For years, the San Antonio Chamber has joined forces with our partners at The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber and Free Trade Alliance to communicate our legislative priorities during the month of February. Joining with our strongest business and civic leaders to advocate in Washington, D.C. and Austin, we have captured the attention of key members of Congress, White House Officials, Cabinet Members, State officials and renowned military leaders during the legislative process and have had positive results after each year’s travels.
We anticipate more than 130 business leaders, elected officials and community leaders will attend and be allowed direct access to the highest levels of the federal and state government in order to successfully communicate the issues that affect our community and region. As always, we need your participation to ensure key national leaders understand your business priorities and the priorities of our community.
