The studio at KLRN was the setting for our October Board of Directors meeting on October 27. KLRN’s President and CEO Arthur Emerson graciously welcomed our board members and explained the station’s mission and the importance of public television. He also showed sneak preview clips of two upcoming programs: Soundbreaking, which is an eight-episode PBS series premiering November 14, and Victoria, a new drama series about the epic life of Queen Victoria that will air in 2017.
During the meeting, the Board unanimously approved the Chamber’s 2017 budget and heard reports about our upcoming Gala and the Chamber/LOOP Speed Networking Event.
