The City of San Antonio Sustainability Office is conducting a Dark Sky Policy Evaluation Process that looks at current outdoor lighting ordinances and any potential changes to the ordinances that could possibly impact you or your organization. As part of this evaluation, the City is seeking stakeholder input to better understand and consider any concerns, hardships, and answer questions related to the Policy Evaluation Process.
You can access information on the Dark Sky Policy Evaluation Process on the city’s website. This includes general information on the process, timeline, and opportunity to provide comments online. You can also provide your comments directly to Eloisa Portillo-Morales at the Office of Sustainability.
They would appreciate your comments before Wednesday, May 31, 2017 to aid in compiling a final recommendation to City Council in June 2017.
