The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce was excited to attend the 242nd Army Birthday Ball hosted at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort and Spa.
More than 600 attendees enjoyed an evening full of tradition and camaraderie aimed at celebrating the Army’s Birthday, as well as honoring the service of our soldiers, veterans, and families. In addition to the presentation of the Colors and traditional Streamer Ceremony, the attendees welcomed guest speaker, Nate Boyer. Boyer was a five-year player for the Texas Longhorns and honorably served as a decorated Green Beret while in the Army. He provided an inspiring speech noting, “Anything is possible” and spoke about finding a passion and living with purpose for others.
