CPS Energy has extended the deadline for applications to fill the expiring term of the Board of Trustees member in Quadrant 3, CPS Energy’s southeast service area including portions of City Council Districts 2 and 3. Applications will now be due on Thursday, October 5, 2017.
CPS has received some strong applications so far, but they want to ensure that they give people more time to apply if they are interested. Information on the board opening for the southeast quadrant is available at www.cpsenergy.com, using the search word “board.”
The Board of Trustees sets policy and works with CPS Energy management to oversee the operation of the nation’s largest municipally owned energy company providing natural gas and electric services. Members of the Board of Trustees serve for a term of five (5) years and are eligible to serve an additional term.
Qualified applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents of Bexar County, and live inside Quadrant 3, CPS Energy’s southeast service area.
