Yesterday, Texans approved all seven proposed constitutional amendments facilitated through the 85th Texas Legislature. Only 5.6% of eligible voters cast their ballot this election cycle. The seven approved constitutional amendments cover a wide range of topics including property taxes, organizations that can run charitable raffles, home equity loan provisions and more.
Proposition 1: Broadens scope of homestead ad valorem tax exemption for disabled veteran or spouse.
