Fiesta is San Antonio’s longest and largest “party with a purpose,” and what better time to introduce you to the growing start-ups, technologies, and tech companies than with a Trek through the downtown Tech District. This is your chance to check out the latest and greatest in virtual reality, software development, hosting, app development, and new product launches. A year ago, the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Tech Bloc and Geekdom launched the inaugural SA Tech Trek during Fiesta, which brought more than 1,000 entrepreneurs, students, executives, military and tech employees to downtown San Antonio. This year, the Trek is back and will be held Tuesday, April 24, from 5-8 p.m. As the Tech District continues to grow, so does the Trek, with five major stops this year. During the Trek, attendees will engage tech companies at each of our major stops at The Rand Building, The Vogue Building, Scaleworks, the Geekdom Events Center, and the World Trade Center Building.  SA Tech Trek is presented by AT&T and features dozens of San Antonio’s coolest tech companies and organizations, including: Geekdom, Tech Bloc, Scaleworks, Assembla, CodeUp, Easy Expunctions, Realco, Build Sec Foundry, Kadence Collective, Medspoke, Slidwave, Koedal, Merge VR, Google Fiber, and many more. Each stop features their own spin on Fiesta food and beverage, with great swag give-a-ways, and chances to get hands-on with new products being launched out of San Antonio.  No tech event during Fiesta would work without some awesome t-shirts and medals, so make sure to grab them as you make your way through the Trek! Join us, for our 2nd annual #SATechTrek and add a little tech to your Fiesta festivities.  Find us on social media @SATechTrek, @sachamber, @geekdom, @satechbloc.  Register here: satechtrek.splashthat.com
