San Antonio ISD cordially invites you to a series of three public meetings to gather your input on the building and site of our new Central Administration facility, to be constructed on existing District property on the field across from our historic Fox Tech High School campus. Please join SAISD, RVK Architects Inc., and Douglas Architects, Inc. on the following dates:
- July 11: Foundational Concepts
- July 25: Preferences
- August 22: Preliminary Data
All meetings will be held at 6 p.m. at Fox Tech High School Cafeteria, 637 N. Main Ave.
The meetings will give the community a chance to engage with members of the project design team, and share ideas through the initial stages of the design process.
The construction of the new facility, at no cost to tax payers, is funded 100 percent through the previous sales of District real estate, a process that has been ongoing for a number of years.
The Central Administration Building will be a one-stop resource for District employees and parents. Its construction consolidates staff members who currently are housed in multiple locations, in facilities averaging 50 years of age. The District will generate approximately $1 million in annual operational savings as a result of the efficiencies of a new, consolidated facility. Questions and comments are welcome at the meeting.
