This past Monday, the Chamber team welcomed Lauren Vissotzky as the new Director of Special Events. Lauren’s duties will include overseeing the scheduling, planning, and executing of special events to enhance the program work of the Chamber and enrich member event experiences.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Lauren to the team,” Chamber President and CEO Richard Perez said. “Her extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry will be a great asset to the Chamber, and I am looking forward to seeing Lauren put her ideas into action and take our events to the next level.”
Prior to working for the Chamber, Lauren was a private contractor working with various companies to plan and execute their meetings. During this time, she traveled across the country, to Canada, and the Bahamas for events that ranged from 10 to 2,000 people. Lauren graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Hospitality Management.
“I am so glad to be a part of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce staff,” Lauren said. “I am really looking forward to getting to know and interact with our members and executing exciting and engaging special events.”
