Our quarterly InfoBite was a great success and provided members with important information about the different legal requirements and purchasing protocols of Bexar County. Renee Watson, Director of the County’s Small, Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprise (SMWBE) Program, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Liaison and Title VI Coordinator, presented a comprehensive view of their procedures and bidding processes.
Attendees gained valuable information by watching a demo on how to bid for contracts with the County directly on the County’s website. The interactive website allowed attendees to understand the intricacies of the process and see first-hand how businesses can register as a new supplier, check the status of bids, and find new opportunities to grow their chances of being awarded a Bexar County contract.
