San Antonio is home to all branches of the military and the largest joint base in the Department of Defense. With that comes a great responsibility to not only support the vital military missions that provide for our Nation’s defense, but to support the service members and their families who provide for the success of those missions and who live, work, and play in our great city. As community members, it is important to stay informed, educated and engaged with our military neighbors, offering them support when needed and providing awareness to others on the great work being accomplished across the installations. During this unprecedented time, critical military missions continue and remain extremely important to San Antonio as well as our Armed Forces objectives.
Your San Antonio Chamber of Commerce was proud to host “The State of JBSA and Its Missions during COVID-19” in partnership with our sponsors at the San Antonio River Authority. During the event, Senior Military Commanders provided an update on their current missions and focused on how they are supporting the Nation and our city amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. This event was focused on Installation Support, Flying Training, Medical Training, as well as the top-notch Medical services that are a treasure to San Antonio and our surrounding region.
