For the past few months, during these challenging times in our City and across our Nation, your San Antonio Chamber team has worked diligently to ensure members and the surrounding community remain engaged, informed and connected. San Antonio is a proud and patriotic city, in great part due to the large presence of military missions and partners and our long history of loyal and faithful support of our military men and women. Supporting the psychological health of our brave men and women and their families is a great responsibility, and one we don’t take lightly. Resiliency and psychological health are extremely important as we all begin the road to recovery from the COVID-19 crisis, in addition to balancing the routine daily challenges of work and home life.  Service members and families, veterans, and civilians who choose a life in the military have unique challenges. As part of the Chamber’s Log-In & Learn Series, the Chamber welcomed Endeavors and their Steven A Cohen Military Family Clinic to highlight resources to assist our military and veterans in their mental health journey. San Antonio is proud to be home to many organizations that support our military, veterans, and families, and we were excited to focus on the work that Endeavors accomplishes both locally and nationally. We focused on the important strategies and tools available to help our military neighbors navigate the stressors of military life, as well as shine light on vital initiatives that aim to prevent homelessness, crisis, and isolation. Our panelists included:
  • Jon Allman, President & CEO, Endeavors
  • Chip Fulghum, Chief Operating Officer, Endeavors
  • Jill Palmer, Senior Director of Clinic Operations, Endeavors
  • Kimberly Anderson, Program Coordinator, Veterans Wellness Center, Endeavors
  • Annie Erickson, Senior Director of Community Based Services, Endeavors
