Voters in San Antonio have an opportunity to influence their representation in state and federal offices next month. Originally scheduled for May, this year’s runoff election will be held July 14, with races in both Republican and Democratic primaries.
To prepare for the election, the League of Women Voters of San Antonio invite the electorate to visit their award-winning website vote411.org. At this site, voters can read information the candidates submitted to the League questionnaire and assess which candidates most align with the voter’s values and ideas of good governance.
Additionally, the San Antonio chapter partnered with the League of Women Voters of Texas and KLRN Public Television to air a live broadcast, Meet the Candidates, with Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate MJ Hegar and Royce West, on Thursday, July 2, 7-8 p.m.
