Last Friday, your Chamber’s staff met for the first time as an in-person unit since March. After months of working remotely, we took team building to unprecedented heights on the new Twisted Trails Ropes Course at Natural Bridge Caverns.
Supported by a harness and a rope, team members climbed to views several stories high and crossed swinging ropes, narrow platforms, and daring step ledges. A few folks zipped across the Hill Country landscape on one of several zip lines connected to the Twisted Trails rope course. On the ground, competitive staff members went head to head in rock-climbing races. In addition to conquering the skies, independent teams of five navigated Natural Bridge’s maze blindfolded, guided only by the voice of one team member each.
The activities were made even more stylish, as the Chamber team was decked out in matching shirts courtesy of Grunt Style, who joined the Chamber as a member this year.
We had so much fun at Natural Bridge Caverns, we invite you and your family to come visit too. This weekend, Natural Bridge Caverns kicks off Halloween with the Trail of Treats, featuring live music, safe trick or treating, hay maze for kids, and more. Later this year, the Discovery Village will transform to a Hill Country Christmas for their annual Christmas at the Caverns event.
After enjoying our time at Natural Bridge, we retired to lunch at our own Executive Vice President Dave Peterson’s restaurant, Mako’s On the Creek in Cibolo. The food was delicious and a great opportunity to catch up with long separated work friends.
