
The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce recognizes how difficult it is for our local businesses to find enough talent to meet their needs, and we are also striving to find solutions. That is why we are so pleased to partner with the City of San Antonio to provide support to our community’s efforts to retain local talent and convince our graduates to #StayinSA.
We invite you and your talent attraction team to join us for the 2nd Annual Stay in SA Intern Mixer on July 14 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at the Alamodome, South Club Eyebrow Room (100 Montana Street). This event will provide college interns the chance to understand the professional opportunities, lifestyle, and culture of San Antonio by connecting with local professionals and community leaders like yourself in a showcase on why our hometown is the logical place to launch a career.
Your Chamber has a long history of supporting internship opportunities in our community. This summer, we are hosting five interns who are obtaining a thorough understanding of the many facets of our thriving business community. We have come to realize that while these young people have gained valuable experience in their internships, some are struggling in seeing how to transition from college graduation to starting a career here.
Do you have interns working with you this summer? Please encourage them to attend this free networking reception. They get to practice important networking skills and you help build a deeper bench of talent for our city.
Are you concerned about your workforce? Please send your talent attraction staff to join us on July 14 to connect with the outstanding young people interning across the city this summer and show them the potential that is San Antonio. This event is free to attend, and there will be plenty of free parking available at the Alamodome.
