The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Aerospace Committee will meet on Thursday, September 8th at 3 p.m. This month's meeting will feature a series of discussions about the future of the aerospace industry in our city.
First, we will examine training opportunities in San Antonio and what else is needed to fuel the growth our sector is experiencing. This will include a look at job position needs and possible new initiatives to steer training programs to meet those needs.
Next, the committee will discuss the draft plans for the industry that the city is developing in their economic development strategic plan and help to finalize the Chamber’s legislative agenda for the upcoming Texas state legislative session in early 2023.
Finally, we will look at the Chamber’s new regional aerospace directory and how we will move forward to have it finalized in the next month.
