Your Chamber’s Aerospace Committee will meet on Thursday, October 13 at 3:00 to learn about the future of Stinson Municipal Airport. Aerospace Committee Chair Frank Garcia, CEO of Land Aero Group, will host the meeting at Stinson for a briefing on the latest changes at the airport and the strategic planning way forward for Stinson and the surrounding area. Following the meeting, committee members are invited to stay for a short tour of Stinson.
The Committee will also hear from Louise Cantwell from the Wex foundation, a San Antonio non-profit that integrates space exploration technology with project-based learning. Their aim is to advance middle and high school STEM education and foster a robust future for the space technology workforce. Wex is a great member of the aerospace education ecosystem in San Antonio and has a good deal to offer both students and educators. We hope to see you at the Committee meeting on the 13th!
