Following a very successful Part I of the New Age SA Panel Series in late August, your Chamber and the San Antonio Young Professionals (SAYP) held Part II of the Panel Series on Wednesday, September 28 at the UIW Rosenberg Skyroom. Part II of the Panel Series covered business financing and focused on venture capital, grants, small business loans, crowdfunding, bootstrapping, and angel investors.
Two of the biggest takeaways from the panel were the importance of relationships when working with financial lenders and the necessity to explore all options. Panelists agreed that one type of funding source may not be applicable in every scenario or be best suited for every type of business. Additionally, having a candid conversation about your financial needs and what you can afford to propel your business forward is instrumental in allowing your financial lender to wholistically understand your situation and find the avenue that can be best tailored to your needs.
The Chamber would like to extend our thanks to our two co-moderators and three panelists for their time and effort in making this event a success.
