Last week the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce hosted a panel discussion with the San Antonio Young Professionals at the new Texas Public Radio building downtown. This was the third installment in the panel series New Age SA, an in-depth look at what it is like to be an entrepreneur in post-COVID San Antonio. This panel, moderated by San Antonio young Professionals CEO, Cyle Perez, focused on marketing a new business and how to make a name for a new company. Cyle was joined by three panelists: David Ramirez, Senior Marketing manager with TINT, Eva Esquivel, Client Manager with Parallel, and Sue De Lopez, Director of Marketing with Visit San Antonio.
The crowd loved the discussion as it covered topics ranging from branding strategies to use of data and analytics. There was a good deal of discussion of the evolution of social media marketing and a few ideas offered by panelists about where it is going. Questions from the audience drew ideas on best ways to spend limited startup or small business resources in marketing and why marketing is not something that can be wished away. It was a great panel, and the conversation continued at the reception that followed the program.
Join us in January for Part IV of the series – finding a home – a thorough look at real estate and all of the options to place your company.
